I’ve gotten a lot of questions (mainly from South America) asking when/if the band is going to tour in a particular area.  Please understand that these questions won’t be asked because Ville cannot give you a for sure answer yet.  The only confirmed date they’re playing so far is Soundwave Festival in Australia in February and we will be asking Ville about Helldone.

Where the band tours depends largely on how the sale of their album is in that particular area, not just where they decide they want to go.  If sales are not good enough to warrant the money required to tour there then the band cannot go there.  If you want the band to come to your country the best thing to do is get out there and promote the album like mad – tell EVERYONE and get people interested so they’ll buy it.   We actually discussed this with Ville in a previous interview and he said the same thing – if the sales aren’t good enough then they can’t go.

Questions such as ‘are you going to tour’ are kind of pointless.  It’s a new album, yes they’re going to tour.  They won’t have all the dates set yet, the album isn’t even out.  Be patient on information like that.  We’re looking for well thought out, interesting questions.  If the question you submit is one that’s been answered a million times in other interviews we’re not likely to ask it again.

Also – we cannot pass on your contact information to Ville and ask him to contact you.  Won’t happen, so don’t ask.  We cannot forward your email to him – we don’t have his email address and he will not be in the studio with us so he can’t read it off my computer screen.  We also will not ask him if he received your gift.  Ville gets more gifts than he can count and while I’m sure he appreciates every single one I doubt he can remember them all.  And not being at home at the moment he can’t really go check either.

To those of you who have sent questions in – thanks!  We’ve gotten a lot of really good ones this time around and it’s going to be hard to choose which to use.  If you haven’t sent one in, you’ve still got time.  Question will be accepted up until September 6th at midnight Eastern time.
